Fri. 10:15 a.m.: State meeting under way to determine Trumbull GOP leadership
COLUMBUS – A meeting is under way in Columbus to resolve a Trumbull County Republican Party dispute over who should be in control of the local GOP party.
The meeting convened at 10 a.m. with representatives from two party factions, including Randy Law and Kathi Creed.
Law, who was elected party chairman, is being opposed by several other members of the party. The opposing faction voted this week to make Kevin Wyndham chairman of the party. Wyndham, of Howland, is not in attendance at today’s meeting because of a scheduling conflict. Law and Creed are in attendance.
This is a developing story. Check back here for updates or read Saturday’s Tribune Chronicle.
