Tues. 1:10 p.m.: Man guilty in assault on Brookfield police chief
WARREN – A Trumbull County jury this morning found a Johnstown, Pa., man guilty of a felony charge in last October’s assault of Brookfield police Chief Dan Faustino.
The jury of six men and six women deliberated for about two and a half hours before rendering the decision in the courtroom of Common Pleas Judge Ronald J. Rice.
Raheem Brantley, 30, was found guilty on charges of assault on a police officer as well as a misdemeanor resisting arrest charge.
Rice scheduled sentencing for 1:30 p.m. Jan. 24. Brantley could face a maximum of two years incarceration.
