Thurs. 9 pm: Man cops fired at facing $150,000 bond
WARREN – A Houston man Vienna police fired at as he fled a police stop following a hit-skip is being held on $150,000 bond on more than 10 charges filed in Warren and Girard municipal courts.
Jason B. Utley, 43, is facing charges of felonious assault, failure to comply with the order or signal of a law enforcement officer, driving under the influence, driving under an OVI suspension, failing to stop after an accident and reckless operation of a vehicle, according to Warren and Girard municipal court records. He is scheduled to appear Wednesday in Girard Municipal Court and Thursday in Warren Municipal Court.
Utley has been in the Trumbull County Jail since Tuesday after he was treated at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital following the Nov. 18 two-crash incident.
