Thurs. 6:30 pm: Austintown racino sees year-over-year wagering increase
AUSTINTOWN – Wagering at Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course last month was up compared to November 2015, but down from where it was in October.
Last month, the Austintown facility saw $80.83 million in credits played compared to $72.39 million in November 2015. In October, $88.08 million credits were played, according to numbers released Thursday by the Ohio Lottery Commission. The commission oversees video lottery terminals, or VLTs, in the state.
At the racino in November, $71.98 million credits were won by gamers, up from $64.48 million credits the same month last year, but down from $78.17 million credits won in October. Net winnings were at $7.77 million in November, up from $7.33 million the same month last year, but down from $8.58 million in October.
