Sat. 8:35 pm: Pearl Harbor 75th anniversary event set
WARREN – The public is invited to join the Tribune Chronicle in honoring and remembering the 75th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor.
The event, “Pearl Harbor and Beyond,” will be 6 p.m. Dec. 7 at Kent State University at Trumbull, Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
Co-sponsored by KSU and Trumbull County Veterans Services, one of the highlights of the night’s program will be a live interview with Pearl Harbor survivor James Werner, 95, of Bristol.
Also on the program is the premier performance of “A Family’s Pearl Harbor,” written and directed by Melisa Trickett of Berlin Center.
In addition, footage and pictures from the attack will be shown before the event.
