Wed. 8:35 pm: Parts from Jeep stolen in Howland recovered in Liverpool
GLENMOOR – Police officers from St. Clair and Liverpool townships converged on an Annesley Road rental home Wednesday, retrieving auto parts they said were reported stolen by a Trumbull County resident.
Patrolman Jim Briggs said he received a call from the Howland Police Department about a Jeep Wrangler stolen there Sept. 30. It is valued at between $50,000 and $60,000.
Howland police advised Briggs they learned through an informant that a man living in the Liverpool area had advertised rims from the Jeep on a Facebook account, showing pictures of them on the porch at 16920 Annesley Road.
“We arrived at the residence and he denied everything,” Briggs said of the man suspected of selling the rims, whose brother lives at the residence.
