Thurs. 9:30 pm: Three men caught on video in break-in try
HUBBARD TOWNSHIP – A Howland man indicted last week on felony charges in connection to a township break-in turned himself in to Hubbard Township police Thursday after police said he was caught on surveillance video last month trying to pry open a door at a Gale Avenue business.
Township police said Connor Dotson, 18, 7826 Glen Oaks Drive, Howland, and two others turned themselves in after police posted the video on social media.
Court records show Dotson was indicted Sept. 27 by a Trumbull County grand jury on charges of burglary, tampering with evidence, safecracking and receiving stolen property. Dotson pleaded not guilty Tuesday during an arraignment in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court and was released on a $10,000 bond.
