Tue. 8:47 p.m.: O’Brien leads Rock in Democratic primary for Ohio Senate seat

WARREN – State Rep. Sean J. O’Brien holds a large lead over attorney Kristen F. Rock in the Democratic primary race for Ohio’s 32nd Senate District seat.

According to early results from the Ohio Secretary of State’s Office, O’Brien of Bazetta has 64 percent of the vote and Rock of Liberty, 36 percent.

The winner will face Republican Robert J. Allen of Chardon, who was unopposed in the GOP primary.

The district includes Trumbull County and parts of Ashtabula and Geauga counties.
