Mon. 8:30 p.m.: Warren PD makes arrest in Ashtabula burglary

WARREN – A Girard man is facing charges in connection to a burglary in Ashtabula County following his arrest by a Warren City police officer who spotted a car described by that county’s sheriff’s office less than an hour after an alert was issued, according to a police report.
Joseph Sechler is charged with two counts of theft and breaking and entering in Ashtabula Eastern County Court.
Sechler, 36, 624 Trumbull Ave., was arrested around 6 a.m. Tuesday after Warren police officer Adam Huffman stopped the car he was driving on West Market Street, the report states.
The alert from Ashtabula asked city officers to be on the lookout for a dark-colored Ford pickup truck that was on surveillance video taken from a burglary in Ashtabula County, the report states.
