Thu. 11:54 p.m.: Warriors top Cavs in OT in Game 1 of NBA Finals
OAKLAND In a back-and-forth Game 1 of the NBA Finals, the Golden State Warriors finally broke free in overtime and put away the Cleveland Cavaliers 108-100.
LeBron James led all scorers with 44 points. Kyrie Irving pitched in 23 and Timofey Mozgov dumped in 16 for the Cavs.
The Warriors were led by Stephen Curry with 26 points and Klay Thompson with 21.
Game 2 is 8 p.m. Sunday in Oakland, and the series comes to Cleveland for Games 3 and 4 at 9 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday.
