Mon 11:15 am: GM-Lordstown announces new plant manager
LORDSTOWN The former plant manager at the General Motors stamping plant in Marion, Ind., has been promoted to plant manager at the Lordstown Complex, the company has announced.
Steve Notar Donato has taken over for former local plant manager Bob Parcell, who has been promoted to manufacturing manager of GM International Operations based in Singapore.
Notar Donato has more than 27 years of service with GM, company officials announced. He began his career as a college graduate in training and progressed through multiple assignments of increasing responsibility in manufacturing, manufacturing engineering and labor relations.
Notar Donato worked at multiple GM facilities including Flint Stamping, Lansing Stamping, New United Motor Manufacturing, Inc., Orion Assembly, Parma Metal Center, Wentzville Assembly and Marion.
He has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Notre Dame and a master’s degree in manufacturing management from Kettering University.
