Fri. 1:46 p.m.: Chiaro named Warren City Schools superintendent
WARREN – Steve Chiaro, former associate superintendent for the district, was named superintendent for the city schools after a unanimous vote by the board of education Friday afternoon.
Chiaro is no stranger to the district, having held his first teaching job as a third grade instructor at Laird Avenue Elementary School and working his way through several positions into the administration. Council members praised his growth through the system and pledged their support for his endeavors in the new position. Board member Patricia Limperos was absent from the meeting.
A full story on the appointment will appear in tomorrow’s Tribune Chronicle.
