Thu., 6:22 pm: Track coach arraigned in stabbing
BROOKFIELD — Bond for a Sharon High School assistant track coach accused of stabbing a student’s parent was set at $50,000 at his arraignment Thursday in Eastern District Court.
George D. Thomas, 53, is accused of stabbing Otis Hickson, 47, near the Brookfield High School track on Tuesday.
Thomas was charged with felonious assault and conveyance of a deadly weapon into a school safety zone, both felonies. He also is charged with misdemeanor assault and aggravated menacing.
