Thu., 11:54 am: Youngstown man to be arraigned on robbery charge

WARREN — A Youngstown man accused of robbing a local business on Wednesday is scheduled to be arraigned today.

Raphael J. Napolitan, 21, of 3043 Kiwatha Road, is facing a felony aggravated robbery charge. He is being held at the Trumbull County Jail.

Police said he robbed the Candy Corner store, 2226 Niles Road S.E., just before 6 p.m., telling an employee repeatedly that he was sorry as he pointed a gun, which the witness said may have been a fake plastic gun, at him.

Police later recovered a loaded revolver at a residence where Napolitan was taken into custody after a witness identified him.
