Sun., 10:35 pm: Car crashes through Cortland store

One woman suffered minor injuries when a vehicle drove through the entrance of the Cortland Dollar General at 322 S. High St. Sunday evening.

According to Cortland Fire Department Capt. Todd Price, a vehicle drove through the main entrance of the store at approximately 7:40 p.m. and took out a couple of beverage coolers before stopping just short of the checkout area.

A female shopper reported being struck in the leg by debris and was transported to Trumbull Memorial Hospital for evaluation. Price said that a dollar amount for the damage is still undetermined.
