Tue., 11:08am: UPDATE Alcohol believed to be a factor in Warren Townshipcrash

WARREN TOWNSHIP — Investigators from the Warren Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol said they believe alcohol was a factor in a Tuesday morning crash that left a Cortland woman injured after the vehicle she was driving struck a mobile home at the Horvath Trailer Park on North River Road just west of North Park Avenue.

Troopers said the driver, Melissa Mack, 26, was transported to St. Joseph Health Center with non-life threatening injuries.

The mobile home resident, whose name has not been released, was inside the trailer but was not injured when Mack’s vehicle crashed into it around 12:39 a.m.

The mobile home sustained severe damage and was uninhabitable, troopers said.

They said Mack was traveling eastbound on North River Road when she drove off the right side of the road striking a guardrail before driving off the left side of the road and hitting the mobile home.
