Mon 3:30 pm: Port encourages survey response

VIENNA – While more than 600 responses to an ongoing air travel survey have been received at the Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport, officials there are encouraging some who encountered electronic difficulties to return to the site.

Because of what airport Director of Aviation Dan Dickten described as “glitches,” some people attempting to take the survey may have not completed the questionnaire. Dickten is encouraging those who would like to take the survey to log on to and enter the survey there. The survey also can be reached through the airport’s Facebook page.

The survey must be completed by Friday. Local businesses, corporations, organizations and other frequent travelers are encouraged to complete the survey which will measure local air service demand and potential community usage. Results will be provided to United Airlines, which is considering the addition of twice-daily service between YNG and Chicago O’Hare.
