Tue., 4:50 pm: Girard apartment building faces problems

GIRARD — Problems with a roof has left former tenants of a Girard apartment building without a roof over their heads for nearly two months.

An apartment building at 751 Churchill Road housed eight families, but a roof collapse on Dec. 22 forced those people out of the complex.

Girard Rental and Zoning Department inspector Pete Cardiero said that the owner of the complex, Gary Woolensack, is responsible for the issue which dates back to Thanksgiving of last year.
