Fri 5:25 pm: Agents search Mahoning County court, judge’s home

YOUNGSTOWN – Agents with the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation are serving warrants in Mahoning County Probate Court as “part of an ongoing” investigation, according to the Ohio Attorney General’s Office.

Law enforcement also are searching a home at 4032 Windsor Road, Youngstown. The home is owned by Mahoning Probate Judge Mark Belinky and his wife, according to the Mahoning County Auditor’s office web site.

An attorney generals spokesman said paper files, computers and other electronic media was being removed from the court; however, he could not confirm the nature of the investigation nor suspects.

“It is at the probate court, but I cannot name names,” said spokesman Dan Tierney.
