Wed., 10:08am: Niles police issue warrant in connection with break-ins
NILES — Police have issued a warrant for the arrest of a man in connection with several garage and shed break-ins in the North Road area last fall.
Michael E. Entler, 28, whose address is not known at this time, has been charged with felony breaking and entering. Police said they began surveillance efforts and launched an investigation after receiving complaints of multiple break-ins. They reported that the investigation resulted in charges being filed against Entler.
Reports state that DNA recovered from one of the break-ins was matched to Entler by the Ohio Attorney General’s Office Bureau of Criminal Investigation Crime Lab.
Entler also has an active warrant for failure to appear on a criminal trespass charge from October. Police reported that in that case a patrol officer caught Entler at night behind the new Niles Intermediate School pulling on doors.
Police are asking anyone with information about Entler’s whereabouts to call them at 330-652-9944.
