Mon., 8:55am: Bob Dean resigns as Warren City Council president

WARREN — Warren City Council President Bob Dean resigned from office, effective Saturday.

Dean was a lame-duck president, having been defeated by Jim Graham in the May primary. Graham did not face a challenger in the November General Election. Graham will take office in January.

President Pro Tem Eddie Colbert, D-7th Ward, will handle the president’s duties in the interim.

Dean served this one term as council president and more than six years as a councilman at-large. He says he is retired and will not seek another elected office.
