HOWLAND — The name Cormaree Floyd has been released by police as that of the 7-year-old boy found unresponsive in his High Street home and later declared dead Friday morning.

Howland Police Chief Paul Monroe said the manner of the death “whether intentional, accidental or natural” is pending information from the coroner. Though Coroner Dr. Humphrey Germaniuk was not available for comment Wednesday afternoon, according to his office the investigation is still pending as it will take several weeks for the return of toxicology tests.
