Fri 1:06 p.m.: Second suspect charged in Warren shooting

WARREN – Police on Thursday arrested a second man in the early Tuesday morning shooting that left two men wounded.

Delquan Ware, 18, is charged with felonious assault in connection to the shooting of Davion Jonte Rogers, 22, and Jamal Brandon Coleman, 20, both of Warren. Rogers is known for his time playing football at Warren G. Haring High School and Youngstown State University.

Ware made an initial appearance in Warren Municipal Court this morning when his bond was set at $300,000. The other suspect, Kardell Lowery Jr., 18, appeared in court earlier this week also on a felonious assault charge.

Ware and Lowery are accused of shooting Rogers and Coleman, who are believed to be half brothers, at their home at 2044 Ferndale Ave. S.W.
