Wed., 7:23am: Medicare open enrollment clinics offered in Mahoning Valley
NILES Open Enrollment began Tuesday for Medicare Part D and Medicare Advantage plans and Area Agency on Aging 11 is encouraging Medicare beneficiaries in Trumbull, Mahoning and Columbiana countiesnto review their coverage.
Open Enrollment runs through Dec. 7. Everyone with Medicare can join or change their health and prescription drug plans for 2014.
“Every year Medicare plans change and often times needs change or a person’s condition changes,” said Lisa Solley, Chief of Community Relations, Wellness, Training & HR. “We encourage people to shop around for the best coverage that fits with their individual needs. We also encourage people to make an educated decision and realize that free benefits checkups are being offered by non-biased staff or Ohio Senior Health Insurance and Information volunteers.”
Medicare Benefits Checkups are offered for free in your home by calling 330-505-2300. Plans also can be viewed and selected at www.medicare.gov The following free clinics are offered:
