Mon. 11:20 a.m.: Warrant issued in shooting death

WARREN – A warrant for the arrest of Tashawn Walker was issued today in connection with the 12:54 a.m., Saturday, shooting death of Richard C. Rollison IV, outside of the Sunoco Station at 805 W. Market St.

Walker, 26, is the brother of Taemarr Walker, who was shot Oct. 19, after a confrontation with a Warren police officer.

Tashawn Walker, 26, 2700 Ward Road, Apt. 62, Baytown, Texas, is believed to have been involved in an incident at T&L Lounge, 1957 Highland Ave, in Warren Township earlier Saturday morning. In that incident, Walker and Thomas Walker are alleged to have gone into the bar and got into a fight with people attending the private party. The altercation moved outside and shots were fired.

Warren Township police found shell casings outside the lounge.

The Walkers headed toward West Market Street.

It is at the Sunoco Gas Station on Tod and W. Market Street that police believe that Tashawn Walker came in contact with Rollison IV, 49 Royal Mall Drive, Niles, while stealing a 1993 Pontiac.

When police arrived at the scene, Rollison was a victim of multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to a local hospital where he later died of his injuries.
