Tue. 12:14pm: YSU breaking ground on veterans center
YOUNGSTOWN – Youngstown State University will break ground Wednesday on a Veterans Resource Center.
At 6,000 square feet, the $1.25 million center will help to improve and expand services to veterans and current service members who are moving from military life to college life, according to YSU.
Local vets are expected to attend the 10 a.m. ceremony on Wick Avenue between Melnick Hall and Pollock House.
The building is being paid for through private donations.
