Thu., 8:34am: Air Force workers in Vienna face cutbacks

About 50 civilian employees and up to 120 reservists could be forced to take furlough days at the Youngstown Air Reserve Station, Col. James Dignan, commander of the 910th Airlift Wing, told Tribune Chronicle news partner WYTV.

The unpaid days off are part of the federal government’s sequestration.

The station employees about 1,600 reservists and 400 civilians. It pumps more than $125 million into the local economy.
