Thu. 12:41pm: Random shooting hurts 2 toddlers at Ohio apartment
TOLEDO (AP) – Police in northern Ohio say two toddlers were hit by bullets when someone fired several shots into the courtyard of an apartment complex.
Authorities in Toledo say both of the young girls are expected to be OK.
A 1-year-old who was hit in the back is in fair condition at a Toledo hospital. The other toddler, a 2-year-old, was grazed in the arm by a bullet.
Police say the toddlers were sitting in the outdoor courtyard night when someone fired shots at the apartment complex near downtown Toledo.
Investigators say witnesses didn’t get a good description of the shooter.
