Fri. 5:23pm: Warren raid nets drugs
WARREN – About 9:30 a.m. today, members of the Trumbull Ashtabula Group Law Enforcement Task Force with assistance from the Trumbull County Sheriff’s Office and Warren Police Department served a search warrant at 2517 Hamilton S.W., according to a release from TAG.
The search warrant was the result of a one month investigation involving drug trafficking from the residence.
Investigators seized crack, heroin, marijuana, prescription pills, prescription cough medicine, digital scales, packaging materials, about $2,600 in U.S. currency and three flat screen televisions.
At the residence were four males, two females and two children. Arrested and charged in Warren Municipal Court were, Ronndle Lightning, 35, on charges of possession of crack/heroin and trafficking in marijuana; and Tashi Johnson, 25, on possession of heroin charges, the release states
Also, six pit bulls were removed from the premises by Warren and Trumbull County Dog Wardens; none was properly licensed.
Charges are pending against at least two other people, according to the release.
