Fri. 12:09pm: Man shot in leg in northwest Warren

WARREN – A man was found with a bullet wound in the the leg at 268 Ohio N.W. at 11 p.m. Thursday.

Marlon Jones was bleeding profusely onto the kitchen floor from the wound in his right thigh when he was picked up by Clemente Ambulance and taken to Trumbull Memorial Hospital for treatment, according to police.

Officers saw glass on the home’s front door was shattered and several bullet holes in the front picture window.

Shell casings were found outside the house, photographed and then taken as evidence.

No suspects have been identified. The shooting is under investigation.

The shooting is the latest act of violence in an already violent week in Warren that also has seen a homicide, a daytime gunfight on a residential street and home invasions.
