Wed. 11:55am: Man in Sunset case arraigned
WARREN – A person of interest in the New Year’s Day homicide at the Sunset Lounge in Warren was arraigned on a weapons charge in Municipal Court this morning.
Orlonzo Murry, 27, 1016 Bennett Ave. N.W., was arraigned on a charge of possession of a firearm in a liquor establishment.
He is being held in the Trumbull County Jail until a bond hearing Friday morning.
Murry was wanted for questioning in the murder of 25-year-old Cory Blackwell, who died after being shot at the club Jan. 1. Police say an argument inside escalated into the shooting.
Murry has been wanted on the warrant for several weeks. He was arrested by U.S. Marshals in Columbus early Saturday morning and taken into custody Monday evening by Warren detectives.
