Thu. 11:48am: Warren man charged in stabbing
WARREN – A city man accused of stabbing a 17-year-old male in the throat on Wednesday has been charged with felonious assault.
James Fudge, 23, of 837 Prospect Ave. N.W., remains at the Trumbull County Jail. He is scheduled to be arraigned Friday.
Warren police said when they arrived at his residence about 3 p.m. they found Fudge on the front lawn and took him into custody.
Jacob Baker of Bane Street S.W. was located on the the porch, police said. He had been beaten and stabbed in the throat, police said. He was transported by ambulance to Trumbull Memorial Hospital.
Police said Baker is alive, but they do not know his condition or how serious his injuries are.
