URBAN AGRICULTURE CONFERENCE: The Growing Garden Leadership and Urban Agriculture conference will be 1 to 5 p.m. March 22 at Trumbull Neighborhood Partnership, 736 Mahoning Ave. NW, and 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. March 23 at IOOF Lodge, 371 High St., Warren. The first day will address how to start a community garden, community garden fundraising and communicating your garden’s story presented by GROW Team staff and volunteers. The second day will include Growing Youth, Green Infrastructure at Your Community Garden, urban honeybee keeping, Capacity Building: What is it and How Do I Do It? with various speakers. FAMILY FIELD DAY: The McKinley Memorial Library is planning a Batters Up Field Day 1 to 3 p.m. March 30 at the Hubbard High School auditorium. Library staff will provide a day full of physical fun. It is free to participate, but registration is required by March 23. All participants will be entered to win four general admission Scrappers tickets for the 2019 season.

MARCH FOR MEALS: Trumbull Mobile Meals will hold March for Meals 8 to 9 a.m. March 22 at the Eastwood Mall in Niles. Registration begins 7:30 a.m. in center concourse. Top money raisers will vie for mall gift cards. Call 330-394-2538.
