PRESIDENTS DAY: A Presidents Day storytime will be held 1 p.m. Monday at the McKinley Birthplace Home, 40 S. Main St., Niles. The event will include a presidential storytime with state Sen. Sean O’Brien, D-Warren, and state Rep. Glenn Holmes, D-Girard, and guest speaker Mike Wilson as President William McKinley.

SCHOOL FORUM: A school financial forum will be held 5 p.m. Thursday at Lordstown High School in the Innovation Center.

The program will include an overview of school finance in Ohio by Ashland University School Finance Professor Joel Roscoe as well as Lordstown school officials discussing specific school funding impacts to Lordstown. This will include the impact of the shuttering of General Motors Corp., the phase-out of state reimbursements of tangible personal property taxes as well as information about the funding formula cap that costs Lordstown Schools about half of its state funding.

CHILDREN’S DINNERWARE: The Sutliff Museum, located on the second floor of the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library, will hold a display of children’s dinnerware and dishes from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday to Saturday.

PURSE BINGO: The Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County will hold a purse bingo Feb. 21 at the Packard Music Hall. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the games begin at 7 p.m.
