Seeing Eye

HOLIDAY EVENT: A Christmas Cheer Winter Festival will be held noon to 6 p.m. Dec. 22 at Quinby Park, 309 Austin Ave., Warren.

The event will include food, entertainment, vendors, Santa Claus, trolley rides, sledding and a chili cookoff.

The festival is sponsored by the Sons of Thunder, Community Concerned Citizens, Warren Neighborhood Initiative and Warren Councilwoman Cheryl Saffold.

A breakfast fundraiser for toys will be held 9 a.m. Saturday at TCAP, 1230 Palmyra Road, Warren, with adults asked to bring a gift for the children’s toy giveaway at the festival. Christmas lights and toys may also be dropped off from 2 to 6 p.m. Monday at the administration building, 763 Hoyt St., Warren, or 9 to 10 a.m. Sundays.

MUSEUM OPEN HOUSE: The Leavittsburg Heritage Center, 4901 W. Market St., Leavittsburg, will be open 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday for the holidays.

The local historical society showcases items from the local community’s history. Society members will help provide tours and information.

EATING DISORDER GROUP TO MEET: Applying New Attitudes and Direction (ANAD) National Eating Disorder Association will meet 9 a.m. Saturday in the Founders Room at Notre Dame Church, 2325 Highland Road, Hermitage, Pa.
