RAILROAD OPEN HOUSE: The Riverside Railroad Club will hold an open house 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and noon to 5 p.m. Saturday at the YWCA Warren Center, 375 N. Park Ave., Warren. G-scale trains running through a detailed city will be set up through the center by club members. Donation is $3 and children 12 and under will be admitted free.

SIGNUPS: The Emmanuel Community Care Center is holding Thanksgiving and Christmas signups through Friday. Families who are registered at the center and need assistance are asked to call 330-545-4301. Thanksgiving basket pickup is 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 20. Anyone wishing to donate food is asked to call the center. Needed items include flavored gelatin, canned fruits, pumpkin pie filling and canned cranberries. Christmas signups at the center run through Dec. 7 for registered families. Anyone interested in adopting a family or children can call the center. Items for Christmas must be brought to the center by Dec. 13. Distribution is set for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 18.

BLOTT KIDS: Blott Holiday Kids Project is being planned at Churchill United Methodist Church in Liberty. Tags have been placed on trees with names of children and what items they would like for the holidays. Trees are set up at the Jewish Community Center, Temple El Emeth, Great Clips at the Liberty Plaza and Denny’s restaurant.

FUNDRAISER PLANNED: A benefit to help Harper Foley, 4, with her health issues will be 3 to 7 p.m. Nov. 11 at Cortland Masonic Lodge, 6400 state Route 46. The event will include a Chinese auction, 50-50 and bake sale. For information, call 330-442-7743 or 330-469-1205.

TEEN DAY OFF: Lordstown Library Branch will hold a Teen Day Off 1 p.m. today. There will be crafts games and snacks for students in grades 7-12. Registration is required.

TOY APPLICATION: Niles Community Services, 401 Vienna Ave., will hold a food and toy program application for residents of Niles, McDonald and Mineral Ridge 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 6 p.m. today through Friday.
