Debutantes to be recognized at ball

WARREN — Five young women will be recognized at the 31st annual Debutante Ball hosted by the Warren Civic League 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday at Leo’s Ristorante, 7042 E. Market St., Howland.

Tickets are $50, available from any Civic League member.

The debutantes, who will be presented at 7:30 p.m., are:

• La’Riah Ashanti Ann Coker, daughter of Teresa Coker and Rommie Johnson. She attends Warren G. Harding High School. Her escort is Corey Tyrell Cobb-Davis.

• Asia Necole May, daughter of Pastor Jeffrey L and Tifany Stanford. She attends Harding. Her escort is Adelbert Charles Jones Jr.

• Iionna N’kki Honzu, daughter of Sheoni Kinyada Walker and Marcel Honzu. She attends Harding. Her escort is Maeson Elijah Green.

• Arayla Michelle Patterson, daughter of Valdeoso Sr. and Regina Patterson. She attends Harding. Her escort is Zachary Aaron Brady.

• Nai’lah N’Dea Thomas, daughter of Lea Dotson and Shawn Thomas. She attends Bard High School Early College. Her escort is Asante Re’Alai Rodgers.

One of the young women will be chosen as Miss Outstanding Deb.

The league is a community service-oriented organization that was founded in 1958.

It has awarded more than 300 educational scholarships to young men and women.
