UNITED WAY VOLUNTEERS: For the third year, United Way of Trumbull County volunteers will welcome students returning to the five Warren City School buildings today. More than 100 men have volunteered to help and will meet 7:15 a.m. at Warren G. Harding High School before heading out to the different schools. Volunteers will then return to Harding for coffee and to meet with the principals and Warren City Schools staff.
FARMERS MARKET: A farmers market will be held 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the village park off Quarry Street. There will be various vendors selling items at the event.
BOARD GAME NIGHT: The Warren Trumbull County Public Library Main Branch will hold board game night for adults 18 and older 6 to 7:45 p.m. Wednesday in Conference Room A on second floor of the library. Those attending will learn and play new games such as Catan, Ticket to Ride and other modern favorites. Players of any skill level are welcome, from beginners on up. A librarian will be there to teach the games.
FIFTIES / SIXTIES NIGHT: The Lordstown Cruisin’ Night will hold a ’50s and ’60s Nite 5:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Lordstown Dairy Queen, 6780 Tod Ave SW. The event is a dress-up night with Elvis and poodle skirts and other dress and items from the 1950s and 1960s.
