EVENT AT MOSQUITO LAKE: Bazetta will hold its Safety Day 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Mosquito Lake State Park marina, 1439 state Route 305. The free event will include a variety of safety activities and vehicles, displays and demonstrations.

BUS TRIP: First Congregational Church of Wayne will sponsor trip to the Sight and Sound Theater in Lancaster, Pa., on July 31 for the show “Jesus.” Included is a performance at the Dutch Apple Dinner theater to see the “Wizard of Oz.”

KNITTING AND CROCHETING: “Knit One, Crochet Too!” will be held 2:30 to 4 p.m. today at the McKinley Birthplace Home, 40 S. Main Street, Niles. Participants can bring yarn, hooks and needles and spend time with others who enjoy working with yarn. Needlepoint is also welcome.
