NAACP plans to meet Saturday

SEEING EYE

GATHERING AT TCAP: The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People Warren-Trumbull Branch will meet 11:30 a.m. Saturday at TCAP, 1230 Palmyra Road, Warren, for the monthly meeting. The annual scholarship event will be 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Dec. 2 at TCAP.

THANKSGIVING GATHERING: A community Thanksgiving gathering will be 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at STEAM Academy, 261 Elm Road NW, Warren. The event will include free food, music, guest cooks and networking opportunities.

TCTC OFFERS INSTRUCTION: Volleyball Coaches School will be held at Trumbull Career and Technical Center in conjunction with the Adult Training Center. There will be 20 hours of interaction instruction. Classes start March 6 and meet every Tuesday and Thursday for five weeks.

ALUMNI BANQUET TODAY: Trumbull Regional Medical Center’s Center for Joint Replacement Alumni Banquet will be held 6 p.m. today at Dilucia’s Banquet Facility, 2610 Elm Road NE, Warren. The Center for Joint Replacement will recognize more than 200 of its patients and their support coaches. The evening celebrates the patients’ successful rehabilitation after their joint replacement surgery.

Guests will enjoy a gala buffet, a selection of pieces from classical violinist Sofia Ayres-Aronson and an arrangement of melodies from the Lakeview High School Madrigal Choir under the direction of Bonnie Chronister.
