Kinsman Safety Forces Day set

SEEING EYE

EVENT IS SATURDAY: Kinsman Safety Forces Day will be 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the township park. The free event for families will include a bike rodeo, Mecca K-9 search team, rollover machine, University Hospital Medevac, a water battle and drawing. There also will be a fire safety trailer, baseball throw, 50-50 raffle, fire and police vehicle display and basket raffle with proceeds to help the Gene Long Scholarship Fund.

STRAWBERRY SOCIAL: St. Paul Lutheran Church, 2860 E. Market St., Warren, will hold a strawberry social 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. Take-out will be available.

LAWN CONCERT: Cortland Community Band will hold a free ”Concert on the Lawn” 7 p.m. Wednesday at Ohio Living Lake Vista of Cortland, 303 N. Mecca St.

CAR SHOW: The Shenango Valley Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America will hold the 35th annual Father’s Day car show noon to 4 p.m. Sunday in Sharon, Pa. The event will be held rain or shine. Registration 8 a.m. to noon. The event will feature the 1964 Ford Thunderbird.

BUILD A BETTER WORLD: A Build a Better World construction program will be 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Howland Library Branch. Children ages 5 to 12 can spend time building with a a variety of materials, including paper, boxes and LEGOs. No registration is necessary.
