Celebration set in Quinby Park

JUNETEENTH CELEBRATION: Community Concerned Citizens will hold a kickoff Juneteenth Celebration 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Quinby Park, 505 Austin Ave., Warren. TIRE DROP OFF: Howland will conduct a scrap tire drop off for township residents only 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. today to Friday at the Public Works Department, 3600 North River Road. Residents may drop off a maximum of eight passenger tires with no rims.

GARDEN SERIES: The ”In the Garden” lecture series will be 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Trumbull County Agriculture and Education Center, 520 W. Main St., Cortland. The program, sponsored by the Ohio State University Master Gardeners, is “Worms and Compost.” The event will be held rain or shine.

A NIGHT IN WHITE: The Warren Civic League will hold its annual “A Night in White” fundraiser scholarship dinner / dance 7 p.m. Friday at Aulizio’s Banquet Center, 4395 Youngstown Road, Warren. White attire is requested by all those in attendance. Prizes will be awarded for the “Best Dressed” at the event.
