Sutliff Museum to have open house

SPRING OPEN HOUSE: The Sutliff Museum, located on the second floor of the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library, 444 Mahoning Ave., will hold a spring open house 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday to celebrate the start of the spring season. The public is invited to share some lemonade and cookies along with a visit to the Victorian parlor featured in the museum and a telling of a Victorian Easter story at 3 p.m. The parlor was created with furniture, paintings and artifacts from the Sutliff family home. The family home was maintained in authentic Victorian style until the death of Phebe Temperance Sutliff in 1955. Throughout March, the Sutliff is showcasing vintage Valentine’s greeting cards. RELAY FUNDRAISER: The Southington Community Relay for Life Team will be hosting a Night at the Movies 7 p.m. today at the Garrettsville Cinema. The movie is “Beauty and the Beast.” All money from ticket sales will be given to the Relay for Life team. The team will compete at the Warren Relay for Life May 12 and 13.

FOOD TALKS: Trumbull Neighborhood Partnership will be hosting talks on “Food Access and Hunger” 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at White Hall, 4126 Youngstown Road SE, Warren, and “Shopping Patterns” 4 to 5:30 p.m. today at Highland Terrace community room, 377 Lane Dr. SW, Warren, and 1 to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at SCOPE of Warren, 220 W.
