Mass to honor safety personnel
BLUE MASS PLANNED:Â The Knights of Columbus Tri County Chapter will hold a Blue Mass to honor public safety personnel with a Mass 4 p.m. Saturday at St. Mary’s Church in Warren. All safety personnel are invited with a reception to be held 4:45 p.m.
OUTREACH TO GATHER: A Time for Recovery Outreach will hold a Christmas party 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday at Youngstown Public Library Main Branch meeting room, 205 Wick Ave. There will be food, games, and prizes. To RSVP or for information call 330-565-2118.
CHRISTMAS CRAFTING AT LIBRARY: Bristol Public Library will hold Christmas crafters event 2:30 to 4 p.m Dec. 12 to 17 for kindergarten to 12th-graders. WINTER CELEBRATION: Mill Creek Metroparks will hold Winter Celebration through Dec. 31 at D.D. and Velma Davis Education and Visitors Center in Youngstown. The theme is “One Man’s Dream; Celebrating 125 Years of Mill Creek Park 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday to Friday. Fellows Riverside Gardens is also decorated for the season.
FUNDRAISER AT CENTER: The Mahoning Valley Historical Society is hosting a sip and paint 5 p.m. Dec. 13Â at the Tyler History Center, 325 W. Federal St., Youngstown. Artist Jackie Popovec will lead the event which is painting winter scene. Proceeds will benefit the Historical Society’s exhibits and educational programming.
