FOWLER HOSTS CHRISTMAS WALK: The annual Fowler Community Christmas Walk will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Fowler Center, the intersection of state routes 193 and 305. The day’s activities include photos with Santa Claus at the fire station, vendors, crafts, various holiday displays and refreshments.

There will be vendors and crafters at the open air market at Neal Middle School gymnasium.

CHRISTMAS AT LIBRARY: The Warren-Trumbull County Public Library will hold a Christmas in the Library Holiday Celebration 2 to 4:30 p.m. Dec. 2. The event includes Christmas wreath making for adults at 2 p.m., crafts for children at 3 p.m. and cookies and tree decorating from 3 to 4:30 p.m.

TROOP HELPS COMMUNITY: Girl Scout Troop 80172 in McDonald spent its November meeting doing community service. The girls brought 20 pies and delivered them to people in the community. The scouts delivered a pie to Mayor Glenn Holmes and his wife, Carol Holmes, at their home in McDonald.

Each pie was accompanied with a card that explained why that particular person was chosen to receive a pie.

Troop leaders are Jacklyn Kuntz and Jenna Evans.

CHRISTMAS TOY DISPLAY: The Girard Historical Society will hold holiday open houses for the Barnhisel House, 1011 N. State St., Girard. The home will be open Friday and Nov. 27 and Dec. 3, 4, 10 and 11.

The theme is “Christmas Joys: Christmas Toys.” There will be displays of toys from Christmas past and decorations including trees in every room.
