HARTFORD HISTORICAL TO MEET: Hartford Historical Society will host a presentation 7 p.m. today at Hartford fire hall. Kat Pavolillo, a park ranger with the Army of Corps of Engineers, will speak on the history of the Mosquito Creek Reservoir dam.

WILDLIFE DISCOVERIES: The Audubon Society of the Mahoning Valley will hold an Exciting New Natural History Discoveries program 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Canfield Library. Jim McCormick of the Ohio Division of Wildlife will speak about newly discovered species and other new revelations in the natural world.

HYPNOSIS SESSION: A group hypnosis session for weight loss and smoke cessation will be held 6 p.m. Wednesday at A Moment for Me Yoga Center, 8309 High St., Howland. There will be a free CD for use at home.
