Library plans New Year’s yoga

NEW YEAR’S EVE YOGA: The Howland Library Branch, 9095 E. Market St. will hold New Year’s Eve Noon Yoga 11 a.m. Thursday for children in pre-kindergarten to second grade. The event will include stretches, a craft and snack at the countdown to Noon Year’s Eve.

Children will need to bring a towel or yoga mat to sit on. Registration is required by calling 330-856-2011.

EVENT CANCELED: First Baptist Church-Braceville, 1300 Cedar St SW, Newton Falls, has canceled its watch night service to celebrate the new year on Thursday.

LIBRARY CLOSED FOR NEW YEAR’S DAY: The Kinsman Free Public Library will be closed Friday and Saturday. Patrons are asked to not overstuff the curbside return boxes.

BOAR’S HEAD FEST: The 55th annual Boar’s Head and Yule Log Festival will be held 1:30 and 4 p.m. Sunday at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 323 Wick Ave., Younsgtown, St. John’s parishioners will be dressed in medieval costume, with a cast of 100.
