DARLING SPEAKS TO TORCH CLUB: Club member Professor Charles Darling is this month’s speaker at the Youngstown Chapter of International Torch Clubs dinner-discussion meeting 6 p.m. Monday. His paper will be “The Misadventures of an Army Draftee: A Memoir.” The meeting will be in Kilcawley Center, Bresnahan Rooms I & II, on the campus of Youngstown State University. The public is invited to attend. Social hour begins at 5:30 p.m., dinner at 6 p.m., and lecture at 7 p.m. Attending only the lecture is free. CLUBS AND LODGES
MUSIC CLUB TO MEET: The Warren Music Club, affiliated with the Ohio and National Federation of Music Clubs, will meet 2 p.m. Tuesday, at the home of Karl and Jeannine Morris. Program chairman Karl Morris has planned a program of “Christmas Spices” featuring a vocal solo by Judy Callion, a vocal duet by the Morrises, a piano solo and an organ/piano duet. The club’s choral ensemble will sing “Bring a Torch, Jeannette, Isabella.” There also will be a poetry reading and group singing of Christmas carols accompanied by Karen Hunt and Elaine Maki. Refreshments will be served following the program.

COLLEGE CLUB MEETS: The College Club of Sharon will meet 1 p.m. today in the Fellowship Hall, First Presbyterian Church, Sharon, Pa. Hospitality with a program begins at 1:30 p.m. The Buhl Community Concert Band will perform their annual holiday concert.
TOASTMASTERS TO MEET: The Warren Toastmaster Club will meet 9 to 11 a.m. today at Christ Episcopal Church, 2627 Atlantic St. NE., Warren.
