Coca-Cola collectors meet

COCA-COLA MEMORABILIA EVENT: The Ohio Western Reserve Coca-Cola Chapter will hold the 27th annual one-day swap meet from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Cortland Masonic Lodge, 3263 Everett Hull Road, Cortland. MISSION SEEKING CLOTHING DONATIONS: The Warren Family Mission is seeking donation of clothing for children and teens for the upcoming school year. Donations of vouchers and gift cards are also being accepted. Donations can be brought to 361 Elm Road, or 2671 Route 422, Warren.

FUN WITH BUBBLES: OH?WOW!?The Roger and Gloria Jones Children’s Center for Science and Technology in Youngstown will hold a “Make Bubble Toolkit” from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday where children can make their own bubbles out of basic household items. “Wonders of Water” will be held from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Aug. 6 and 13. BOOK DRIVE AT SCRAPPERS: The Mahoning Valley Scrappers and United Way of Trumbull County have teamed up to collect books for United Way’s Reading Great by 8 initiative. Donations of new or gently used books for kids through age 8 have been and are being collected by the United Way at Scrappers games. The Reading Great by 8 initiative is designed to increase the number of Trumbull County children reading at grade level by grade three, with an emphasis on children from low-income families. Books will be delivered to school children, along with a craft and snack, in October.
