Library open house planned

HUBBARD LIBRARY HOLDS OPEN HOUSE: The Hubbard Public Library, 436 W. Liberty St. will hold its annual open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Demonstrations of services will be offered. There will be a mini book sale and refreshments from the Friends of the Library. All money generated benefit the library. Donations of books, DVDs, CDs, puzzles and games are welcome at the circulation desk during regular library hours.

PORTRAYAL OF FIRST LADY: The public is invited to a special presentation by Carol Starre-Kmiecik performing as former first lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis at 6:30 p.m. April 9 at the annual meeting of the Trumbull County Historical Society at the Trumbull Country Club.
